Orange-Balsamic Dressing & Marinade
This dressing is a great addition to any salad or as a marinade for grilled chicken or vegetables. The combination of tangy orange juice and sweet balsamic vinegar is a perfect balance of flavors.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, orange juice, Dijon mustard, honey, and minced garlic until well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Use immediately as a dressing or marinade or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Optional variations:
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick
- Replace the Dijon mustard with grainy mustard for a different texture
- Add chopped fresh herbs, such as basil or thyme, for additional flavor
