Orange-Balsamic Dressing & Marinade

This dressing is a great addition to any salad or as a marinade for grilled chicken or vegetables. The combination of tangy orange juice and sweet balsamic vinegar is a perfect balance of flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, orange juice, Dijon mustard, honey, and minced garlic until well combined.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Use immediately as a dressing or marinade or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Optional variations:

  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick
  • Replace the Dijon mustard with grainy mustard for a different texture
  • Add chopped fresh herbs, such as basil or thyme, for additional flavor
