If you’re looking for a delicious and healthy alternative to beef burgers, you might want to try these herbed salmon burgers. They’re easy to make, packed with flavor and omega-3 fatty acids, and perfect for grilling or pan-frying.

To make these burgers, you’ll need:

  • 1 pound of skinless salmon fillet, cut into chunks
  • 1/4 cup of finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons of finely chopped fresh dill
  • 2 tablespoons of finely chopped fresh chives
  • 2 teaspoons of Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 cup of panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 4 whole wheat buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, onion, and other toppings of your choice

To prepare the burgers, follow these steps:

  1. In a food processor, pulse the salmon until coarsely chopped. Transfer to a large bowl and add the parsley, dill, chives, mustard, salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs. Mix well and shape into four patties.
  2. Refrigerate the patties for at least 15 minutes to firm up.
  3. Heat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate or the pan. Cook the patties for about 4 minutes per side or until golden and cooked through.
  4. Spread some mayonnaise on the bottom halves of the buns and top with lettuce, tomato, onion, and a salmon patty. Add more toppings as desired and serve with your favorite side dish.
