Healthy Diet and Healthy BMI for Women
Maintaining a healthy diet and healthy body mass index (BMI) is crucial for women’s overall health and well-being. A healthy diet can help prevent chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and some cancers. BMI is an indicator of whether a woman is underweight, normal weight, overweight, or obese, and can be used to assess her risk of developing health problems.
The recommended diet for women is one that is high in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins, and low in saturated and trans fats, added sugars, and salt. Women should aim to consume a variety of foods from all food groups, including:
