Basics of Dental Care

- Dental visits: Visit your dentist at least twice a year for routine cleanings and checkups. This can help to prevent tooth decay, gum disease, and other oral health issues.
- Diet: Eat a balanced diet that is rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein. Limit sugary and acidic foods and drinks, as these can contribute to tooth decay.
- Habits: Avoid smoking and tobacco use, which can stain teeth, cause bad breath, and increase the risk of gum disease and oral cancer.
